Dr. Patrick Hodara is a former Senior Corporate Manager of Business Development and Strategy with NOVARTIS (Switzerland).

Dr. Patrick Hodara is a DVM with focus in Pharmacology and immunology research, he holds an MBA (dean’s list) from INSEAD, and has invested considerable amount of time in continuous education with world-class leading institutions in the fields of corporate strategy and finance, as well as in public administration and policy.

Barry Schreiber, Esq.

Barry Schreiber is the President and General Counsel of HOLDUS ADVISORS, Barry is a highly experienced and trained corporate investment banker and a member of the Florida and Israel Bars. He has practiced law since 1971. He served 14 years as a Miami-Dade County Commissioner and sat on the Bench as Judge Pro Tem for the Municipal Court of Santa Fe, NM. He was certified as a Circuit Court Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court in 2000.

Since 1992, while living in Israel, Mr. Schreiber concentrated on start-up and emerging companies in the hi-tech and health sciences field. From “Angel” to first round financing and through each level of funding thereafter, Barry was successful in shepherding numerous such entities “from the garage to the highway” and beyond. Since 2008, Mr. Schreiber has enlarged the scope of his practice to include producing and financing independent films, production companies, television and New Media. Mr. Schreiber’s legal and financial career has exposed him to substantial varieties of international commercial transactions emanating from all parts of the globe. His knowledge of venture capital, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance and politics provides Barry with the incisive edge to achieve the best result for the client.

Mr. Schreiber received a B.A. from Yeshiva University and was graduated from the University Of Maryland School Of Law with a J.D. During his political and professional career,
Mr. Schreiber received numerous awards and honors for professional, personal, community leadership and achievement.

Stan Yakatan (In Memoriam)

Stan Yakatan has served 30 years as a successful CEO, entrepreneur, and operational manager. He has dedicated the last 12 years of his career to sharing his experiences with management teams interested in building technology based companies. His experience as an executive is far reaching as he has served in an Executive capacity with: New England Nuclear, Dupont, ICN Pharma, New Brunswick Scientific, Biosearch. These experiences have provided him with management skills and corporate finance acumen. Stan Yakatan has founded or co-founded in excess of 15 companies in the United States, Canada, Israel, France and Germany and in many cases served as the initial CEO, and Chairman of these companies. He currently sits on the board of directors of several public and private companies and has advised several of the world’s leading venture capital firms including TVM (Germany), Ventana (USA), MSP (USA) and Biocapital (Canada). During the decade of the 1990’s Biocapital was the most successful venture capital fund in Canada. Stan Yakatan currently serves in a business development capacity for the XL TechGroup. XL Tech Group systematically discovers unmet business needs, then creates, selects, and develops new technology businesses, and scales them to liquidity. Stan Yakatan assisted XL TechGroup in the development of its business model, and advised on the overall capitalization strategy for XL Tech Group. In October 2004, XL TechGroup undertook an Initial Public Offering in connection with its listing on the Alternative Investment Market (“AIM”), raising in excess of $40.0 million. Stan Yakatan has completed and advised on numerous acquisitions and corporate finance transactions raising in excess of $1.0 billion dollars in the public and private capital financing markets. Stan Yakatan is currently the Chairman of Grant Life Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB:GRTV) a company developing a revolutionary test for the screening of cervical cancer. He also serves as the strategic advisor to the state government of Victoria, Australia. Stan Yakatan is the Executive Director and Chairman of Biocomm, in Melbourne, Australia, the first of its kind regional business development agency and early-stage capital pool. Stan Yakatan currently sits on the Board of Mercury Therapeutics, Inc. which is developing new drugs for diabetes and obesity and Phenomenome Discoveries, Inc., a novel biomarker company. He also sits on the board of Biophan and serve as advisor to several venture capital and investment groups as well as both public and private companies.

Dr. Daniel Teper

Dr. Daniel Teper  is the principal founder of Cytovia Therapeutics. He established the strategic vision of the company and secured the key foundation product and technology acquisitions. Dr. Teper brings extensive experience as a biopharma entrepreneur, corporate executive, and management consultant. Previously, Dr. Teper was the founder and CEO of Immune Pharmaceuticals, which he listed on NASDAQ. He also served as New York-based Managing Partner (Head of North America) at Bionest Partners, where he advised companies on corporate strategy and business development. Dr. Teper is a Strategic Advisor to Steba Biotech, an innovative drug-device oncology company affiliated with the Weizmann Institute and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Daniel Teper brings over 30 years of experience as a corporate executive, management consultant and entrepreneur in the field of life sciences and communication. Dr. Daniel Teper was Vice President in the New York office of ISO Healthcare Consulting, now part of Monitor Group. Early in his career, he was Project Manager for the Global Product Portfolio review at Novartis, working closely with McKinsey & Company, and the R&D and commercial leadership of the company. Dr. Daniel Teper’s operational experience includes sales, brand marketing and new product development at Novartis in the US, and then general management with GlaxoSmithKline and Sanofi-Aventis in Europe.

Daniel also led Global Operations for several Healthcare communication groups, with responsibility for multi-country P&Ls, mergers and acquisitions, global client relationships and management of blockbuster brands.

Dr. Daniel Teper graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Paris XI University and holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD where he was the J. Salmon scholar.

Robert Rosenfeld

Robert Rosenfeld has over 20 years Sales & Marketing experience in the European and US high-tech industries. He has significantly contributed to the tactical and strategic success of the European subsidiaries of 5 US corporations; Texas Instruments and Fairchild Semiconductor as Sales Manager Active Components, followed by a position as European Sales Manager VLSI Test Systems at GenRad -now Teradyne. He than moved into the related software area as Sales & Marketing Manager EDA for the “front-to-back” System, ASIC and IC-design at GenRad and Mentor Graphics. In 1993 he took the opportunity to start-up a European software distribution company for high-end enterprise software and services. In 1995. Robert Rosenfeld joined BI Technologies – now TT Electronics as Managing Director of their European organization. He kept this position till his move to California in 2002. Since 2002 he is a Business Consultant with RR Consulting, advising and supporting small and medium size Industrial, Telecommunication and Distribution companies in marketing their products and services into Europe.

Robert Rosenfeld holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University Munich and also a Car Electrician Journeyman Diploma from the Chamber of Handicrafts Munich. Robert Rosenfeld earned a California Sales Agent License from
State of California Department of Real Estate.

Dr. Stephane Denepoux

Dr. Stephane Denepoux has outstanding and extensive R&D and international consulting experience. Prior to joining Holdus Ventures, Dr. Stephane Denepoux was the Scientific Officer of The World Life Sciences Forum BioVision, a pluridisciplinary life science gathering held every two years in Lyon, France. At this position, he was in charge of program coordination, speaker invitation and corporate communication for the Forum. He gained his global overview of the biotech sector by contributing to the development of BioSquare a leading European Biotech Business Convention and collaborating with the European Commission DG Research and Industry for the establishment of a European biotech network. In a leading European Life science consulting firm he managed large scale international projects on rules and regulations of GMO containment for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, on setting-up clinical research evaluation tools and on new global unit planning for the World Health Organization (WHO).

Dr. Stephane Denepoux holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology, trained in Europe and in the USA, at the Ecole Normale Superieure and at the UT South-Western Medical School in Dallas, TX. He conducted research in immunology for Schering-Plough laboratories, the UT South-Western Medical School in Dallas, the Pasteur Institute in Paris and as a member of the Basel Institute for Immunology, Hoffmann-La Roche in Switzerland.
